Medicine Hat took their first lead of the night just before the midway mark of the third period on a goal from Noah Davidson, making it 2-1. With five minutes left in regulation, Harrison Lodewyk capitalized on the power play to even the score and force overtime. The veteran forward appeared in this 250th career game tonight.
In the extra frame, a delayed penalty call against Calgary gave the Tigers the extra attacker. Markus Ruck would capitalize netting the winner at 3:42 to secure the 3-2 final for Medicine Hat.
Calgary has a pair of games this coming week starting on Thursday, Nov. 27 when the Moose Jaw Warriors come to the Scotiabank Saddledome for a 7:00 p.m. start.
