VIDEO INTERVIEW: New Giants Draft Pick Landon Horiachka
Vancouver, B.C. – The Giants may have a gem in 2009-born forward Landon Horiachka, who was a top prospect heading into the 2024 WHL Prospects draft and ended up being their third-round pick, 55th overall.
Just yesterday, they signed the Sherwood Park, Alta. product to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Horiachka, who is already 6-foot-2 and 186 lbs., likes to play with an edge. He finished third in scoring in the Alberta Elite Hockey League (AEHL) U15 Division this past season with 64 points in 31 games (25G-39A), while serving as captain for his hometown Sherwood Park Flyers. He was also named a First-Team All-Star in the AEHL.
This week, the newest Giants signee took some time to tell us about his style of game, winning the Alberta Cup, his summer plans and more.
