Mazden Leslie was drafted 10th overall by the Vancouver Giants in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. Leslie, a product of Lloydminster, AB was signed in April, 2020 and joined the team as an under-ager for the entire 2021 season inside the Hub in Kamloops/Kelowna. Leslie recorded five goals in 17 games, including a pair of goals in his first WHL game against the Kelowna Rockets.
