PREVIEW: Giants Look to Bounce Back in Kennewick vs. Ams

Kennewick, WA – Tonight the Vancouver Giants (9-15-2-0) visit the Tri-City Americans (13-10-1-1) in the third of four head-to-head meetings and the second clash in two weeks.
Vancouver lost 4-0 to Kelowna on Friday night at the Langley Events Centre, while the Americans lost 4-1 on home ice last night to the Prince George Cougars.
Tri-City currently sits in 6th place in the Western Conference and is 10-5-1 on home ice, while the Giants are 10th ijn the Western Conference after three straight losses and are 3-9 on the road.

LAST TIME OUT
The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Vancouver Giants 4-0 on Friday night at the Langley Events Centre.
The Rockets scored a pair of goals in the final five minutes of the opening period and made it a 3-0 game midway through the third, before adding an empty-net goal to make it a 4-0 final. Rockets goaltender Jari Kykkanen stopped all 16 Vancouver shots he faced in the third period and finished with 31 saves overall for his first shutout of the season.
It was the fourth time the Giants have been blanked this season and third time in the last eight games.
TONIGHT’S MATCHUP
The Giants are 0-2 so far against Tri-City this season, falling 4-1 on Nov. 1 on the road and 5-2 on Nov. 25 on home ice.
Vancouver has had trouble scoring as of late, with just 11 goals in their last six games (1-4-1 record). Tri-City is 3-3 in their last six contests.
Jordan Gavin and Lukas Dragicevic lead all players in H2H scoring with four points each in the two games thus far.
Tonight is the second game of a 3-in-3 for the Giants, who will play on Sunday in Spokane.
