PREVIEW: Giants Host Wild to Begin Busy Weekend
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (3-6-0) host the Wenatchee Wild (1-4-1-1) tonight at 7 p.m. PDT at Langley Events Centre in the first of four head-to-head meetings this season.
The Giants will look to build on their 4-1 win over Regina last Saturday, which was their sixth and final game of their East Division road trip. The G-Men held the Pats to just 12 shots on goal in the game and had strong performances throughout the lineup.
Vancouver went 2-4-0 on the road trip overall.
The Wild are coming off their very first win of the season, a 7-3 home win over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Sunday. The Wild are 0-2-1 on the road so far this season, getting outscored 11-5 in those three games combined.
Vancouver went 2-1-1 vs. Wenatchee last season.

Off the ice, the Giants are celebrating Oktoberfest tonight!
Highlights include craft beer and food sampling in the banquet hall pre-game and in both intermissions, as well as an Oktoberfest themed pre-game buffet. Additionally, the first 1,500 fans receive a 25th anniversary Giants hat!
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. PT – come early and enjoy the festivities.
