Giants Training Camp Day 1 Recap
Vancouver, B.C. – The first full day of Giants Training Camp took place on Thursday, August 29 at the Langley Events Centre, presented by Chevrolet, which included skates and a scrimmage for 2008 and 2009-born players, followed by a practice for the veterans in the evening.
In the afternoon scrimmage, Team White defeated Team Black 8-3, thanks to two goals each from Max Malinousky (2008) and Brett Olson (2008), plus tallies from Ryan Serfas (2009), Declan Brinkman (2008), Wyatt Callander (2009) and Luca Pura (2008).
Team Black got two goals from Landon Horiachka (2009) and one from Tyus Sparks (2008).

Giants Chevrolet Training Camp continues on Friday with three scrimmages, as Team Byram, Team Gallagher and Team Lucic will each play a pair of games, starting at 2:15 p.m. All ice sessions are free for the public to attend.
Friday, Aug. 30
- 2:15 p.m. – Team Gallagher vs. Team Lucic
- 3:45 p.m. – Team Byram vs. Gallagher
- 5:15 p.m. – Team Byram vs. Team Lucic
Saturday, Aug. 31

REMINDER – PRESEASON QUICKLY APPROACHING
The City of Port Coquitlam is once again hosting the Vancouver Giants, this time for a pair of preseason games on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, both against the Victoria Royals.
Both games will take place at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) inside Jon Baillie Arena, with Saturday’s game scheduled for 7 p.m. and Sunday’s game scheduled for 2 p.m. This event will coincide with Port Coquitlam’s Car Free Day on September 7.
