GAME DAY: Sunday, March 2 vs. Wenatchee
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (28-24-8-0) host the Wenatchee Wild (21-30-7-1) today for RE/MAX presents Nickelodeon Night, where the Giants will be wearing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle jerseys as part of a charity initiative with the Children’s Miracle Network.
The G-Men are coming off a U.S. road trip where they picked up one point in three contests: losing 4-3 to Spokane on Wednesday, 3-2 in overtime to Tri-City on Friday and 4-2 to Everett last night. Vancouver is winless in their last five (0-3-2).
The G-Men have struggled on the road recently, but they are 8-2-2 in their last 12 home contests. Overall, Vancouver is 18-9-3 on home ice this season with a +22 goal differential.
Wenatchee beat Tri-City at home last night 2-1 in overtime, after losing to Spokane on Friday 5-1. They are 3-4-4 in their last 10 games.
The Giants are 1-1-1 against the Wild this season.

The Vancouver Giants surrendered four power play goals in a 6-2 loss to the Wenatchee Wild on February 23.
After going up 1-0 on a late first period power play goal, the Wild added three quick goals early in the second to jump out to a commanding 4-0 lead. The teams exchanged goals after that, with the Wild finishing the game 4-for-5 on the man advantage. Adam Titlbach (25th) and Tyus Sparks (10th) provided the goals for the G-Men.
