GAME DAY: Sunday Dec. 1 vs. Seattle
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (10-9-4-0) begin the month of December by hosting the rebuilding Seattle Thunderbirds (9-14-2-1) on Sunday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre at 4 p.m., who are playing their fourth game in five days.
The G-Men are trying to find the consistency they had earlier in the season, after getting outclassed on Friday by the league-leading Everett Silvertips in a 7-1 loss. Four weeks ago, the G-Men were 9-4-2.
Today is the second of four meetings between these two clubs, with the Giants taking the first matchup on Sept. 20, topping Seattle in overtime 4-3 in the team’s home opener thanks to a game-winning-goal from Tyler Thorpe.
Seattle lost to Victoria last night on the road 6-1, but beat the Royals the previous game 3-2 in a shootout.
Vancouver is 3-5-2 in their last 10, while the Thunderbirds are 4-5-1.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
The Player to Watch for the Giants is forward Jaden Lipinski, who had plenty of success head-to-head against Seattle last season, leading all players in H2H scoring with eight points in four games (1G-7A), helping the G-Men go a perfect 4-0 against the Thunderbirds. When the Giants 20-year-olds like Lipinski have found the scoresheet this season, they have often come out on top.
