GAME DAY: Saturday, March 8 at Kamloops
Kamloops, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (29-24-8-0) battle the Kamloops Blazers (22-34-4-1) on Saturday night at the Sandman Centre at 6:00 p.m.
The G-Men will look to build on their strong record against Kamloops this season, as they are 4-1-1 so far, most recently a 9-2 win on February 1.
After officially clinching a playoff spot a few days ago, Vancouver is in the hunt for fifth place in the West, currently in seventh, but just two points behind Portland for fifth with seven games remaining.
The G-Men went 1-2-1 in four games last week, three of which were on the road. They ended the weekend with a 3-1 win at home on Sunday against Wenatchee.
The Blazers are coming off two mid-week road games: they beat Seattle 3-2 on Tuesday before losing to Portland 4-3 on Wednesday.
