GAME DAY: Nov. 10 at Prince George
Prince George, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (9-5-2-0) look to bounce back from a lopsided loss to the Prince George Cougars (10-4-3-2) last night in a game where the final score didn’t tell the whole story.
Today’s puck drop is set for 2 p.m. at the CN Centre.
The G-Men got behind the eight ball early last night, but were out-shooting and out-chancing the Cougars after 40 minutes despite a 4-1 deficit. Prince George pulled away in the third.
The Giants are still averaging 4.31 goals per game, which ranks 3rd in the WHL, and have an opportunity to come away with a split. Last night was the first time this season they had been held to fewer than two goals.
The Cougars remain undefeated in regulation on home ice this season with a 5-0-3-2 record at the CN Centre.
