GAME DAY: Friday, Nov. 29 vs. Everett
Langley, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (10-8-4-0) take on the top team in the Western Hockey League tonight as 15-year-old phenom Landon Dupont and the Everett Silvertips (19-3-2-1) make their first visit to the Langley Events Centre for a 7 p.m. PST puck drop.
The G-Men are coming off a massive win last Sunday, taking down the B.C. Division leading Prince George Cougars 4-3, in a game where the Cougars only mustered 25 shots on goal. That win improved the Giants home record this season to 7-3-1, but more importantly broke a six-game winless streak (0-4-2).
Tonight is the second of four meetings between these two clubs, with the Giants taking the first matchup on Sept. 21, when they spoiled the Tips home opener with a 4-3 road victory.
Everett enters action coming off a 3-2 overtime loss at home on Wednesday night to the Victoria Royals, but they are 7-1-1-1 in their last 10 games. They are also the only WHL team with 10 or more road wins, currently with an 11-2-1 record away from home.
The Giants are 4-4-2 in their last 10 games.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
The Player to Watch for the Giants is forward Ryan Lin, who scored his first career WHL goal last Sunday, a beautiful one-timer off the rush that tied the game 2-2 early in the second period. He has recorded a goal and 14 assists for 15 points in just 18 games.
Among rookie d-men, Lin’s 15 points rank third in the WHL, trailing only Landon Dupont (Everett) and Keaton Verhoeff (Victoria). His play without the puck has arguably been more impressive, given that he consistently plays against the other team’s top lines. Craig Button of TSN ranked Lin 6th overall in his early rankings for the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.
The Player to Watch for the Silvertips is defenceman Landon Dupont, who has lived up to the hype as the only 15-year-old in the WHL, after receiving exceptional status from Hockey Canada last spring. He currently leading all rookie defencemen in points with 22 and his +16 rating is 5th-best among all defenders, regardless of age.
Dupont started his WHL career with a seven-game point streak (4G-7A) and has recorded five multi-point games already. With the way he skates, sees the ice and moves the puck – it’s hard to believe he doesn’t turn 16 until May of next year.
