GAME DAY: Friday, March 21 at Kamloops
Kamloops, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants (32-26-8-0) visit the Kamloops Blazers (24-37-4-1) at 7 p.m. tonight in the final road game of the regular season.
The Giants have lost two straight, but are 4-2-0 in their last six.
Currently sitting in sixth place in the Western Conference with two games left, the G-Men can’t move up in the standings, but they are still looking to fine tune their game ahead of next weekend’s playoffs.
A win tonight – combined with a Tri-City loss at Portland – will solidify Spokane as Vancouver’s first round playoff opponent. If Vancouver loses tonight and on Sunday, Tri-City could hypothetically catch them in the standings, as they have three games remaining.
The Blazers have been eliminated from playoff contention and are 2-4-0 in their last six.
The G-Men are 5-1-1 this season head-to-head versus Kamloops.

Two goals from Ty Halaburda and 33 saves from Burke Hood helped the Vancouver Giants pick up their 30th win of the season on March 8, after they defeated the Kamloops Blazers 5-1 at the Sandman Centre.
In addition to Halaburda’s 25th and 26th goals of the season, Jaden Lipinski (15th), Connor Levis (22nd) and Cameron Schmidt (35th) also scored.
