GAME DAY: Fri. Dec. 6 at Tri-City
Kennewick, WA – The Vancouver Giants (11-10-4-0) play their first of three road games this weekend at the Toyota Center on Friday night against the Tri-City Americans (18-6-1) at 7:05 p.m.
Tonight is the Americans’ Teddy Bear Toss Game and the first of four meetings this season. Last year, the clubs split the season series 2-2.
The G-Men are trying to rebound from a 5-3 loss on home ice on Wednesday night, a game where they had significantly more chances than the visiting Regina Pats, but lost 5-3. The Giants wrapped up a season-high five-game homestand with a 2-3 record.
Tri-City had a league-high 12-game winning streak from Oct. 12 – Nov. 11, but have gone 5-3-0 since. They have the WHL’s 4th-best goal differential at +18, but lost their most recent game 5-2 at home to the Wenatchee Wild on Nov. 30.
Vancouver is 2-6-2 in their last 10, while the Americans are 7-3-0.
