Drazenovic Selected for U17 Pacific Team

The Cougars are proud to announce that Nick Drazenovic has been selected to represent British Columbia on the 2003 Pacific Regional Under 17 Team (Team Pacific). The BCAHA announced their 11 picks in Osoyoos, BC on July 29th, 2003. Alberta will announce their 11 players by November 15th, 2003, which will complete the 22 man roster for Team Pacific. rrNick is a Prince George product who joined the Cougars for 15 games this past season scoring 4 goals and 4 assists. Cougars Scout Kelly Kursteiner will also be part of Team Pacific as Director of Operations. With the skill and character displayed at this summers Provincial Development Camp we will be looking to build on Team Pacific’s Silver medal at the 2002 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge,” said Kelly Kursteiner.rrMichael Fogolin and Greg Gardener, two of the Cougars protected players, have made the first round of cuts on the Alberta List and will be notified in November if they are successful.rr
