Coach’s Corner:

“We have to clean some things up. We have to be better. We know the areas that we were lacking in. We have to get better in goal, and we have to get better on the back end. It’s a team effort with our forwards coming back and helping… It’s a whole group we have to change, and hopefully we have had a good enough week here with some excellent practices. We went through a lot of things, and we will see what we got tonight.” GM & Head Coach Mark Lamb on his club ahead of tonight vs. Brandon.

“You look at everything. You look at their summer. You look where they are rated, you look at what type of team they have. On paper, they have a real good team. A team that a lot of people think will be one of the top teams in the league on that side. When I look at it, and look at the players they have, they could very well be a real dominant team. It’s weighted to their offence. They have some real good guys that can scoot around out there, create offence. They have their goaltender back from Minnesota, so all in all, they are trying to find themselves also, and so are we, so it should bode for a pretty good game with two different styles.” – Lamb on tonight’s opponent in the Brandon Wheat Kings
