PREVIEW: Chiefs kick off 2023-24 regular season at Kamloops Friday
Kamloops, B.C. — The Spokane Chiefs will kick off their 2023-24 season on the road as they take on the Kamloops Blazers Friday night. The teams last faced each other on January 14 when Kamloops skated to a 5-2 victory at home.
Spokane finished their pre-season slate 3-2-1-0, with Berkly Catton leading the way among Chiefs scorers (3G-8A). 16-year-old Owen Martin was the highest-scoring rookie in the league through exhibition play, notching four goals and two assists for six total points.
