CHIEFS’ FIRST ROUND PLAYOFF SCHEDULE SET
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs’ first round WHL Playoff series versus the Victoria Royals has been finalized. The Chiefs will host Games Three and Four, as well as Game Six (if necessary).
Spokane went 2-2-0-0 against the Royals during the regular season as each team won once on the road and once at home. Goaltender Tyson Verhelst starred for the Chiefs, posting a 1.67 GAA and .946 SV% in three starts. The Chiefs and Royals last met in the playoffs two seasons ago, in the first round of the 2014 WHL Playoffs, with Victoria winning four games to none.
The game schedule is as follows:
GAME 1: Friday, March 25 – Spokane at Victoria – 7:05 p.m.
GAME 2: Saturday, March 26 – Spokane at Victoria – 7:05 p.m.
GAME 3: Tuesday, March 29 – Victoria at Spokane – 7:05 p.m.
GAME 4: Wednesday, March 30 – Victoria at Spokane – 7:05 p.m.
*GAME 5: Friday, April 1 – Spokane at Victoria – 7:05 p.m.
