Chiefs reassign Esler, Harris to respective U18 clubs this week
Spokane, Wash. — The Spokane Chiefs have reassigned forward Cohen Harris and goaltender Carter Esler to their respective U18 clubs ahead of this week’s exhibition games. Harris returns to the Saskatoon Blazers, while Esler rejoins the Okotoks Oilers. Spokane’s current roster sits at 16 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.
Harris played in two exhibition games with the Chiefs, notching a point and an assist, while Esler played 59 minutes in net over two games (.886 SV%).
Chiefs forward Ty Cheveldayoff and defenseman Saige Weinstein will not play in this week’s games as they attend the Vegas Golden Knights’ and Colorado Avalanche’s training camps, respectively.
