Swift Current, SK \u2013 <\/strong><\/span>The Swift Current Broncos are pleased to announce their scouting staff for the 2026-27 Western Hockey League season, featuring a combination of returning personnel in expanded roles and several new additions across Canada, the United States and Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chad Leslie (Winnipeg, Man.) will serve as the Broncos\u2019 Director of Scouting, overseeing a newly structured department to strengthen the organization\u2019s scouting presence across Canada, the United States and Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re excited to announce our scouting staff for the upcoming season,\u201d said Broncos General Manager and Head Coach Travis Crickard. \u201cOur scouting staff did outstanding work identifying and evaluating talent. Their eye for the game and dedication to the process helped build the foundation of this roster, and several of their evaluations have already paid off at the NHL and WHL levels.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

BRITISH COLUMBIA<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Kerry Gladson<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Head British Columbia Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Surrey, BC.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Gladson returns to the Broncos scouting staff and has been promoted to Head British Columbia Scout. He joined the organization in 2018 and will oversee the club\u2019s scouting efforts throughout the province.<\/span><\/p>\n

ALBERTA<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Quinn Hancock<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Head Alberta Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Calgary, AB.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Hancock returns for his fifth season with the Broncos after joining the organization in 2022. He has been promoted to Head Alberta Scout and will oversee the club\u2019s scouting efforts across Alberta.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roy Stasiuk<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Alberta Regional Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Edmonton, Alta.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Stasiuk joins the Broncos as a new addition to the scouting staff, bringing extensive experience in hockey scouting, management and coaching. His lengthy hockey r\u00e9sum\u00e9 includes scouting and management experience at multiple levels of the game, adding another experienced evaluator to the Broncos\u2019 Alberta scouting group.<\/span><\/p>\n

SASKATCHEWAN & MANITOBA<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Troy Leslie<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Head Saskatchewan\/Manitoba Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Virden, MB.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Leslie has been promoted to Head Saskatchewan\/Manitoba Scout after previously serving as a travelling scout. He joined the Broncos in 2022 and will now oversee scouting operations throughout both provinces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cole Zahn<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Saskatchewan Provincial Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Estevan, SK.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Zahn returns for his fourth season with the organization after joining the Broncos in 2023. Previously a travelling scout, Zahn will move into the role of Saskatchewan Provincial Scout.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tyler Dickson<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Manitoba Provincial Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Winnipeg, MB.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Dickson returns to the Broncos scouting department after joining the organization in 2020. After previously serving as Scouting Coordinator, he will transition into the role of Manitoba Provincial Scout.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

GOALTENDING<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Brian Elder <\/span><\/strong>\u2013 Goaltending Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Wawanesa, MB.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Elder returns in his role as Goaltending Scout. He has been a member of the Broncos scouting staff since 2021 and will continue to evaluate goaltenders for the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

UNITED STATES<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Andy Kubas<\/strong> <\/span>\u2013 USA Regional Scout, West\/North Central<\/span><\/p>\n

Edina, Minnesota<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Kubas returns for his sixth season with the Broncos after joining the organization in 2021. He will be responsible for scouting throughout the West and North Central regions of the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chris Eagles<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 USA Regional Scout, South Central<\/span><\/p>\n

Longmont, Colorado<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Eagles joins the Broncos as a new hire and will cover the South Central United States. He currently serves as the North Colorado Youth Hockey Travel 14U Hockey Director and Coach.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathan Cosman<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 USA Regional Scout, Pacific<\/span><\/p>\n

Salt Lake City, Utah<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Cosman joins the Broncos scouting staff and will be responsible for the Pacific region of the United States. He is the owner of JC93 Hockey and serves as Head Coach of the Utah State University Hockey Club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joey Gilhooly<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 USA Regional Scout, Eastern<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooklyn, New York<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Gilhooly joins the organization to cover the Eastern United States. He currently serves as Director of Scouting for the Woodbridge Wolfpack Hockey Club in New Jersey.<\/span><\/p>\n

U18<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ryan Keller<\/span> \u2013 U18 Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

Saskatoon, SK.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Keller joins the Broncos scouting staff as a U18 Scout. He currently serves as Head Coach of the Saskatoon Contacts in the Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League.<\/span><\/p>\n

EUROPE<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Miska H\u00e4m\u00e4l\u00e4inen<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 European Scout<\/span><\/p>\n

J\u00e4rvenp\u00e4\u00e4, Finland<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

H\u00e4m\u00e4l\u00e4inen joins the Broncos as European Scout, expanding the organization\u2019s scouting presence overseas. He currently serves as Youth Hockey Operations Manager for the KJT Haukat organization in Finland.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re grateful and excited that many of our scouts are staying on board,\u201d said Crickard. \u201cRather than changing who is doing the evaluating, we\u2019re changing how the department is organized and adding Roy, Chris, Jonathan, Joey, Ryan, and Miska to help expand our scouting reach and depth of coverage.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis new structure adds clearer regional assignments and more cross-checking between scouts. We believe this combination of proven eyes, new perspectives, and organization sets the Broncos up for continued success on draft day and beyond.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

For nearly a decade, Paradis has been an important part of the Broncos\u2019 day-to-day operations, providing valuable support behind the scenes. From organizing equipment and maintaining the locker room to making sure the room is game-ready every day, Paradis\u2019 hard work and dedication have made him a valued member of the organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jaswal joined the Broncos ahead of the 2025-26 season and played a crucial role in the club’s coaching staff, helping support player development while contributing to the team’s culture on and off the ice.<\/span><\/p>\n

“This happened quickly after announcing Roshen would return for this season,” said Broncos General Manager and Head Coach Travis Crickard. “Although it is late, we believe that any time someone has an opportunity which they feel is best for continuing their development we will always be supportive of it. While we are very sad to see him go, we are excited to see Roshen progress in the game. We wish Roshen much success in his next opportunity.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift Current, SK<\/strong> \u2013 <\/span>The Swift Current Broncos are glad to announce the return of Regan Darby as an Associate Coach for the 2026-27 Western Hockey League season.<\/span><\/p>\n

Darby returns behind the Broncos bench for another season after continuing to play a key role within the organization. A longtime member of the Broncos family, Darby has served the club in a variety of coaching and hockey operations roles, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the organization to the coaching staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are super excited for Regan to return to the coaching staff,” said Broncos General Manager and Head Coach Travis Crickard. “He has worn many hats during his time with the Broncos and that experience will prove beneficial toward making a positive impact on our players\u2019 lives.<\/span><\/p>\n

“His experience as a player and coach makes him someone who will be leaned on heavily in the coach\u2019s office and on the bench. As a local of Swift Current, Regan understands firsthand what the Broncos mean to the community and what this community means to the Broncos,” said Crickard.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It will be exciting to see the players back after putting in the work all summer,” said Darby. “You are able to see the commitment and improvements right away. Now it’s about bringing that work together as a team and building something we’re proud of this season. Camp is coming soon and is always an energizing time of the year, and I’m looking forward to getting started.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift Current, SK \u2013<\/strong> <\/span>The Swift Current Broncos are pleased to announce the return of Greg Klevgaard as the club’s Goaltending Coach for the 2026-27 Western Hockey League season.<\/span><\/p>\n

The upcoming season will mark Klevgaard’s fourth year with the Broncos organization, where he has worked closely with the coaching staff and players, providing on-ice instruction and technical development throughout the season.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We would like to extend a warm welcome back to Greg as our goaltending coach,” said Broncos General Manager and Head Coach Travis Crickard. “We are very fortunate to have a goaltending coach on site to work with our team on a daily basis. Greg will work closely with Dave Rathjen to ensure our goaltenders receive a positive development experience.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Klevgaard is looking forward to continuing his work with the Broncos’ goaltending group and helping the team’s young netminders take the next step in their development.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am excited to be coming back to the Broncos for another season!” said Klevgaard. “Having the ability to train and mold young talented goaltenders is such a privilege.”<\/span><\/p>\n

With Klevgaard returning, the Broncos will continue to provide a strong development environment for their goaltenders heading into the 2026-27 season.<\/span><\/p>\n
