The Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club has an exciting opportunity to be a key part of the Swift Current Broncos as the Senior Manager of Business Operations & Corporate Partnerships. This role is an integral part of the organization’s business operations and integration into the corporate community, as well as the primary director of event production and fan experience management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Sales and Sponsorship Coordination
- Responsible for managing the corporate sponsorship/partnership list, securing new sponsors, and meeting financial sales targets set each year
- Responsible for maintaining good relationships with corporate partners and ensuring all contracts are executed according to the negotiated terms, including but not limited to;
- In-game signage and activities
- digital
- social
- broadcast
- community activations
- Hosting activities and events related to corporate sponsorship
- Responsible for working with the WHL on all league contracts
- Managing the effective execution of all sponsorship/partnership activations requiring other staff involvement
- Managing and further developing the annual sponsorship inventory package, with a focus on innovative sponsorship and partnership activities that generate effective return on investments for sponsors
- Game Day Events
- Participate in the creation of a game night plans for all games, that focus on entertainment and fan engagement, alongside the Senior Marketing and Brand Manager under the direction of the Executive VP of Business Operations.
- Produce the game day script for the production crew
- Overall supervision of Game Day Assistants, PA Announcer, In-Stand and On-Ice Assistants, Anthem Singer, Mascot, and all other game day crew related to fan entertainment.
- Supporting the Concession Manager and Concession staff.
- Participate in the management of all logistics and aspects of a game night within the vision set by the Senior Marketing and Brand Manager, including:
- lobby activities, including draw prizes, contests, and auctions
- intermission promotions
- contests and prizes
- pre-game or post-game giveaways.
- Training and coordination of all “Game Day Crew” members, to ensure the efficient and coordinated execution of game night activations
- Work with other team members to ensure all game day elements are executed, and game night is run effectively and efficiently.
- Community Relations
- Supporting the management of community activities, including establishing creative community relations activities that build on our current programs, alongside the Broadcast and Community Relations Manager
- General
- Supporting the Executive VP of Business operations with general activities, such as:
- Scheduling and work flow management
- Financial reporting
- Employee management
- Working with other Broncos staff to create unique game-day specials, promotions, and marketing activities
- Representing the Swift Current Broncos organization professionally and courteously through the Broncos media and community events, and in all other activities
- Prioritizing the mission, vision, and values of the Swift Current Broncos, and supporting the organization in their duty to serve the community
- Supporting the Executive VP of Business operations with general activities, such as:
Requirements and qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Corporate Sales or Business Management role, ideally within a sports or entertainment organization
- A Bachelor of Commerce or similar University Degree
- Experience in a team-based work environment
- Safe Places Certification or eligibility
- General Business experience with a Not-for-profit organization considered an asset

Wage/Salary Info:
- Annual salary based on experience, plus commission on sales activity.
