Broncos Sign Import Draft Pick Petr Pavelec

Swift Current, Sask. – The Swift Current Broncos announced today that they have signed 2005-born forward Petr Pavelec to a Scholarship and Development Agreement. Pavelec was selected with the 24th overall pick in the 2023 CHL Import Draft.

The 6’0”, 203-pound Pavelec spent the 2022-23 season with HC Vítkovice U20, a team located in the city of Ostrava, Czech Republic. At the U20 level, Pavelec accumulated 13 points (8-5-13)  and 49 penalty minutes in 46 games.
