Employment Opportunity: Broncos Looking to Hire Video Coach
The Swift Current Broncos are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented, individual to join our Hockey Operations Department as a Video Coach. This can be an in-person, remote, or hybrid position.
As our organization continues to invest in becoming a leader in player development, performance analysis, and competitive excellence, we are looking for a video coach who can play an integral role in supporting our staff through video analysis and communication.
The successful candidate will work with the Head Coach, and Assistant Coaches. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in hockey operations while working in a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Video Operations
- Live code, manage, and distribute all team games.
- Code, manage, and distribute all team practices.
- Coordinate game video acquisition, exchange, and storage.
- Maintain video databases and tagging systems.
Coaching Support
- Assist coaching staff with opponent scouting reports.
- Provide real-time video support during games when required.
Analytics Integration
- Assist with collection and organization of team and player performance data.
- Integrate video with analytics to support decision-making.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement through video review.
Qualifications:
Required
- Strong understanding of hockey systems and tactics.
- Strong understanding of Catapult systems (I.e., Focus and/or Thunder)
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, travel, or work remotely.
Preferred
- Previous experience in junior, collegiate, professional, or high-performance hockey.
- Knowledge of hockey analytics and data visualization.
