Kamloops Blazers Announce Exciting February Schedule
Kamloops, BC – The Kamloops Blazers are gearing up for an action-packed month of February with a series of thrilling home games and exciting promotions, designed to bring fans and the community together in support of hockey and local initiatives. From country music to discounted tickets for local students, the Blazers have something for everyone this February.
Friday, February 7th at 7:00pm – Country Night
The Blazers will face off against the Everett Silvertips on Friday, February 7, with a special twist: former Blazers Jesse Sanche and Kaden Hammell will be returning to Kamloops, along with Landon DuPont, the second player in WHL history to be granted exceptional player status (alongside Connor Bedard). DuPont is the son of Blazers alumni Micki DuPont.
This exciting matchup will also feature Country Night, with country music playing throughout the game. The game will be presented by Douglas Lake Equipment, who will be providing tickets for local 4-H Clubs and High School Rodeo teams.
Saturday, February 8th at 6:00pm – KMHA Night
The Blazers will look to climb the standings when they face the BC Division-leading Prince George Cougars on Saturday, February 8. This crucial BC Division matchup will be a battle you don’t want to miss!
We’ve teamed up with BCLC to support a vital local organization: the Y Women’s Emergency Shelter. Fans are encouraged to bring a new item for donation to help fill the Y’s start up baskets with most needed items – including kitchen utensils, measuring cups and spoons, can openers, tea towels/ dish cloths and pots.
In addition, Kamloops Minor Hockey Association will benefit from a generous donation of tickets through the Blazers’ Community Commitment Program.
Tuesday, February 11th at 7:00pm – TRU Tuesday
It’s time for TRU Tuesday on February 11 when the Tri-City Americans visit Kamloops for a mid-week clash. Thompson Rivers University students, staff, and alumni can enjoy discounted single-game tickets to this exciting game, which will be a great chance to support the Blazers as they continue their playoff push.
Friday, February 14th at 7:00pm – Valentine’s Day at the Sandman Centre
On Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14, the Blazers take on their archrivals, the Kelowna Rockets. It promises to be a heated contest, with plenty of passion on the ice! Fans can celebrate the day of love with a special pregame meal. Enjoy a family-style (tables of 8) Valentine’s Day dinner experience at the Kamloops Kia Lounge. This meal will be in place of the regular Levy Pregame Meal. Reservations are required. To reserve your spot, email [email protected].

Monday, February 17th at 2:00pm – Family Day
Get ready for a Family Day tilt on Monday, February 17, when Shea Van Olm and the Spokane Chiefs roll into town. This game is proudly sponsored by Save On Foods and will feature a Faith & Family Day theme, celebrating the family-oriented values of the Kamloops community.
Youth in attendance will receive a Lunch Bag Giveaway courtesy of Save On Foods in the Leaps of Laughter Kids Corner, and after the game, fans can enjoy a Skate with the Blazers! Helmets are required for the post-game skate.
Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00pm – WolfPack Wednesday
Rounding out the month, the Blazers will host the Portland Winterhawks on Wednesday, February 26, for another exciting WolfPack Wednesday. This night is especially for TRU students, staff, and alumni, who can enjoy discounted tickets to cheer on the Blazers.
Additionally, this game will be part of the CMHA Talk Today initiative, as the Canadian Mental Health Association partners with the Blazers and the WHL to raise awareness around mental health. Fans are encouraged to share their support by using the hashtag #TalkToday to keep the conversation going online.
