Week in Review:

Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Prince George Cougars – 6-1 Loss

The Blazers were in this one until a third period outburst by the Cougars as they scored three times for a 6-1 win. Matt Needham had the Blazers lone goal in this one as goaltender Bolton Pouliot saw action for the first time in the WHL preseason going the distance while making 34 saves. Click here for Recap.

The Kamloops Blazers have signed 15-year-old forward Jermaine Loewen to a standard WHL contract. Follow this link to read more about Loewen.

October is Kids’ month, buy a regular priced Adult or Senior ticket and receive a FREE Child ticket (Ages 4-12) for the same game during the month of October.

The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 19-year-old goaltender Bolton Pouliot from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for a 6^th round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2016. For more on the trade, follow this link.

Tim Bozon (Montreal Canadiens), Cole Ully (Dallas Stars) and Sam Grist (San Jose Sharks) have all returned from their respective NHL camps. All three players will be in the line-up opening night on Friday, September 20^th.

Colin Smith (Colorado Avalanche), and JC Lipon (Winnipeg Jets), are both with their respective NHL teams. Lipon suited up for an NHL Exhibition game against the Washington Capitals on Saturday night. The potential return of both Smith and Lipon is unknown.

The Kamloops Blazers will be featured on SHAW-TV four times this upcoming season including two home and two away games:

January 28, 2014 vs. Spokane Chiefs
February 14, 2014 vs. Portland Winterhawks
February 28, 2014 at Calgary Hitmen
March 7, 2014 at Victoria Royals

Regular season single game tickets will be available starting Monday, September 16^th at 9:00am. They can be purchased by visiting ticketmaster.ca or by calling the Blazers Box Office at 250-828-3339.

Season tickets can be picked up at the Blazers Box Office during regular office hours from 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
