BLAZERS SUFFER 6-3 LOSS IN TRI-CITY
The Blazers trailed early and played catch up the rest of the way in a 6-3 loss in Tri-City on Friday night. The Blazers finished a stretch of four straight road games with a 3-1-0-0 record.
Garrett Pilon, Carson Denomie and Joe Gatenby had goals for the Blazers. For Denomie, it was his first career WHL goal.
The Americans got three goals from Jordan Topping and a goal and a helper from Michael Rasmussen.
Dylan Ferguson took the loss in goal with 21 stops on 25 shots through two periods. Max Palaga played the third period and turned aside seven of eight shots. Patrick Dea had the win for the Americans with 26 saves. Both teams were 1-for-3 on the power play.
The Blazers will look ahead to the weekend as they have home games on Friday, October 27th against Everett and Saturday, October 28th against Tri-City.
