BLAZERS ACQUIRE FOUR DRAFT PICKS FROM WINTERHAWKS
BLAZERS TRADE TYSON JUGNAUTH TO PORTLAND WINTERHAWKS
The Kamloops Blazers have traded the playing rights of 2004-born defenseman Tyson Jugnauth to the Portland Winterhawks. The Blazers received four WHL Prospect Draft picks including a 3rd round pick in 2024, a 2nd round pick (via Brandon) in 2026, a conditional 6th round pick in 2024 and a conditional 2nd round pick in 2025.
Jugnauth was originally a 1st round WHL Prospects pick in 2019. He re-entered the WHL Prospects Draft in 2021 and the Blazers selected him in the 7th round. The Kelowna, BC native is in his second season playing in the NCAA for Wisconsin.
