ZIMMER AUTOGROUP FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
The Kamloops Blazers will host their final regular season game tonight against the Prince George Cougars. Game time is 7:00pm.
The Blazers face a must win situation in order to keep their potential playoff hopes alive. The Tri-City Americans sit two points in front of the Blazers with two games left in the WHL season.
The Blazers need to win tonight and hope that Tri-City loses their final two games in regulation time to tie them in the WHL Standings. If the two teams finished tied in the standings, the Blazers and Americans would play a one-game playoff in Tri-City (based on Tri-City having more wins then the Blazers) early next week.
If the Americans either win or earn at least a point in their final two games, they will clinch the final wild-card playoff spot in the Western Conference.
GAME DETAILS
Tonight will be your final chance to purchase a $2 ticket to win a game worn Blue third jersey. The winners will be announced during the second intermission.
Fans in attendance at the game who win a jersey are invited to go on the ice following the conclusion of the game to have their jersey presented to them by the player.
All proceeds from the raffle will be going to the Kamloops Blazers Scholarship & Education Fund.
The United Way will have a table set up on the concourse. Stop by their table and purchase a ticket for a chance to win a ‘Trip for 2’ anywhere WestJet flies.
For Zimmer Autogroup Fan Appreciation Night, one lucky fan will have the chance to ‘Shoot to Win’ a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500!
There will be a Kale Tire Plaza Party and BBQ starting at 5:30pm. 1000 fans will receive a free hot dog and pop courtesy of Safeway. There will also be free face painting.
Prior to puck drop, the Blazers will present their regular season player awards on the ice.
Following the game, fans are encouraged to stick around and get autographs as the entire Blazers team will be on the concourse to sign autographs.
