Blades offence erupts in preseason win over Pats
Regina, SK – The Saskatoon Blades secured their first win of the preseason defeating the Regina Pats 6-2 Wednesday night at the Brandt Centre.
Sophomore forward Jordan Keller potted two goals in the victory and winger Tyler Parr scored in his second straight game for the Blue and Gold.
Blades rookie netminder Evan Gardner stood tall in the crease stopping 29-of-31 shots thrown his way.
The Blades have one more preseason outing Saturday, Sept. 16th in Warman, SK vs the Prince Albert Raiders. Saskatoon enters the contest with a 1-2-0-0 record, hoping to finish .500 before the regular season begins.
The game in Warman will feature a Shoot-to-Win contest during intermission for a chance at a Blades/RCMP Prize Pack. Keep an eye out for PokeCheck along with our merchandise table that will feature new items for the 2023-24 season.
All 50/50 proceeds from the game go to the Warman Minor Hockey Association (WMHA).
