Siepmann invited to Utah Hockey Club rookie camp
Saskatoon, SK – Saskatoon Blades defenceman Grayden Siepmann has been invited to the Utah Hockey Club’s rookie camp this week.
The Abbotsford, BC native had made a notable impact on the Blades since being acquired from the Calgary Hitmen in October 2023. Part of one of the best defensive pairings in the league alongside WHL graduate Charlie Wright, the right-handed shot recorded 17 assists in 53 regular season games with Saskatoon last season. In 204 career WHL games, the 5-foot-11 blueliner has 18 goals, 69 assists, and 87 points. Siepmann dressed in Saskatoon’s preseason game on Sunday against the Brandon Wheat Kings and scored the first goal of the game for the Blue and Gold.
