Who to Watch
NHL draft-eligible winger David Lewandowski scored the Blades first powerplay goal of the series last night. The Dusseldorf, GER native brought 5,000+ fans to their feet with his first career WHL playoff goal early in the second frame. Lewandowski is tied for the most shots on the team with eight alongside forward Hunter Laing and defenceman Grayden Siepmann.
Forward Cooper Williams and rookie defenceman Brayden Klimpke recorded an assist in yesterday’s loss to the Hitmen. It’s both players second assist of the postseason and second in their playoff careers. Williams is fresh off a 57-point (21G, 36A) rookie season, the third most by any Blades rookie in the last 25 years.
