Tonight
The Saskatoon Blades (1-1) invade the Art Hauser Centre for Game 3 of their Round 1 series against the Prince Albert Raiders (1-1). The Bridge City Bunch made it a best-of-five series after a 4-1 victory in Game 2 on Friday at SaskTel Centre. The Blades lost Game 1 at home 4-3 after allowing four unanswered goals but responded well to even the series headed to Prince Albert.
Who to Watch
Anaheim Ducks draft pick Egor Sidorov scored a goal and an assist in Friday’s win over the Raiders. The Belarusian sniper leads the team with three goals and four points through games 1 and 2. Sidorov’s lone goal in Friday’s victory stood as the game-winner, the second of his WHL postseason career. Sidorov was one of the Blades most efficient scorers in last year’s run to the Eastern Conference Final with nine goals and 19 points in 16 games. In 66 regular season games this year, Sidorov became the first Blade to score 50 goals since Mark Deyell and Frank Banham during the 1995-96 season.

Gardner was named WHL Goalie of the Month for March after going 5-0 with a .938 save percentage, 1.59 goals-against average, and a 27-save shutout in the final regular season game.
