The Saskatoon Blades (34-21-3-4) look to defend their spot atop the East Division standings when they visit Westoba Place to challenge the Brandon Wheat Kings (33-22-4-3).
The Bridge City Bunch reclaimed their spot atop the division after a 6-3 victory last night on the road at the Brandt Centre against the Regina Pats. Holding a 34-21-3-4 record, the Blades 75 points is one ahead of the second-place Prince Albert Raiders and two ahead of the third-place Brandon Wheat Kings. Each team has six games remaining in the regular season. The Blades control their own destiny of winning the division title, playing each team two more times before the end of the season. Tonight’s the seventh of eight meetings between the Blades and Wheat Kings with the season series locked at 3-3.

Rookie defenceman Brayden Klimpke snapped a 49-game goalless drought last night in Regina. The Calgary, AB native has three goals and 21 assists in 53 games. Klimpke’s on a six-game point steak with one goal and six assists in that span. The 5-foot-11 blueliner also leads the team in +/- at +19.
Rookie centre Cooper Williams recorded his second straight multi-point game last night in Regina. The Calgary, AB native scored a goal and an assist, giving him two goals and four assists on his four-game point streak. Williams is tied for third in WHL rookie scoring with 18 goals and 32 assists in 62 games. The 2026 NHL draft-eligible forward is the first Blades rookie to reach 50 points since forward Brandon Lisowsky finished with 58 in 2021-22.
La Salle, MB’s own Tyler Parr recorded a goal and two assists in last night’s game against Regina. The Blades’ alternate captain has two goals and three assists in his last two games. The performance helped Parr crack the 60-point (20G, 40A) plateau for the first time in his career.
