The Saskatoon Blades (27-23-4-2) begin the second half of their four-game road trip with a tilt against the Red Deer Rebels (21-29-2-2) at Marchant Crane Centrium. The Blades are 0-1-0-1 on the trip so far. The latest result was a 3-2 loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings on Monday and a 5-4 shootout loss in Prince Albert before on Saturday. Saskatoon’s 2-0 against the Rebels in the four-game season series, outscoring the hosts 10-7.

Alternate captain Brayden Klimpke, and sophomore forwards Cooper Williams and Zach Olsen are fresh off the 2026 Western Hockey League (WHL) Prospects Game in Langley, BC. Ranked 42nd amongst North American skaters on NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings, Williams finished the game with two assists. Right behind him at 43rd, Olsen recorded a goal in the WHL Top Prospects game. Klimpke was ranked 79th by central scouting and was steady in the 5-4 overtime win with a shot on goal and even rating.

Alternate captain Rowan Calvert has the most goals on the team at 24 and a team-leading 12 coming on the man-advantage. Second-year defenceman Jordan Martin owns the best +/- at +10.
