The Saskatoon Blades (30-19-3-4) look to move one step closer to clinching a WHL playoff berth as they visit the Moose Jaw Events Centre to take on the Moose Jaw Warriors (11-41-4-2).
The magic number for the Blue and Gold is seven points, either earned by themselves, or lost by the Red Deer Rebels. The Blades are third place in the East Division with 67 points, two back of the second-place Brandon Wheat Kings and four behind the division’s top Prince Albert Raiders.
Tonight’s the sixth and final game between last year’s Eastern Conference Final combatants. Saskatoon leads the season series 4-1, outscoring the Warriors 14-10. The. Blades went 6-3-0-1 in February, dropping the final contest of the month on Tuesday at home 2-0 against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

2006-born netminder Ethan McCallum started nine of the Blades’ ten games in February. The Brandon, MB native went 5-3-0-1 with a .910 save percentage (SV%) and 3.22 goals against average (GAA). Since being acquired by the Blades on October 28, 2024, the former Medicine Hat Tiger is 8-7-0-3 with a .908 SV% and 3.10 GAA.
20-year-old winger Tanner Scott is one assist away from 100 in his WHL career. The Sherwood Park, AB product has 60 goals and 159 points in 266 career games. Scott’s scored six goals and 11 assists in 21 games since being acquired by Saskatoon on January 2 from the Victoria Royals. In 46 games during his final season, Scott owns 12 goals and 21 assists in 46 games.
Alternate captain Tyler Parr announced his commitment to the NCAA’s Union College Men’s Hockey team on Monday upon the completion of his WHL eligibility. In 54 games, the 19-year-old winger leads the team in points with 18 goals, 34 assists, and 52 points, all career highs. Parr will begin his NCAA career at the start of the 2026/27 season.
