Blades announce Lake as team’s new equipment manager
Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatoon Blades are happy to announce Brady Lake as the club’s new equipment manager.
Lake has a wealth of experience in similar roles. The Richmond, BC native spent two seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) as head equipment manager for Powell River Kings between 2014-2016. Lake embarked south of the border in 2016 and spent three years as the assistant equipment manager for the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Rockford IceHogs. In the 2022-23 season, Lake joined the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights for one year.
The 38-year-old has experience at the highest level with the Arizona Coyotes and most recently the MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks.
Lake replaces Spencer Stehouwer, who has accepted a position at the pro level. The Blades want to thank Stehouwer for his relentless work ethic and contributions to the organization throughout the last two seasons.
Welcome to Blade City, Brady!
