The Saskatoon Blades (14-6-1-1) venture to Co-op Place for their second meeting of the week against the Medicine Hat Tigers (13-11-0-0). The Blue and Gold won their 14th straight meeting against the Tigers on Tuesday at SaskTel Centre after a 5-3 victory. The last time Medicine Hat defeated the Blades was 11-3 on December 10, 2019 at SaskTel Centre.
Following a 3-0 home-stand, the Blades were shutout 4-0 Thursday at the Moose Jaw Events Centre against the Moose Jaw Warriors. It was the first time Saskatoon failed to score a goal since February, 27, 2024 against the Red Deer Rebels at home.

20-year-old defenceman Grayden Siepmann picked up his 100th career WHL point with an assist Tuesday against Medicine Hat. The Langley, BC product has 21 goals and 79 assists in 226 games.
20-year-old sniper Brandon Lisowsky is tied for ninth on the Blades’ all-time goal-scoring list with 131 tucks alongside Brent Ashton. The former Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick netted the game-winner Tuesday against the Tigers to hit double-digit goals on the season. Lisowsky owns 131 goals, 114 assists, and 245 points in 243 career WHL games, all with Saskatoon. In 16 games this season, Lisowsky has ten goals and ten assists.
Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick Evan Gardner is 10-5-1-0 on the season. The Fort St. John, BC native turned in a 30-save performance against the Warriors on Thursday. Gardner’s 2.60 goals against average (GAA) and .917 save percentage (SV%) are both second amongst WHL goaltenders. The 6-foot-1 goalie is tied for fifth in shutouts in franchise history with five, one shy of current London Knights starter Austin Elliott.
