The weather is heating up in Kennewick and so are the offseason adventures. We checked in with our returning players to find out what they’re up to this summer and how they’re preparing for the upcoming season. Describe your offseason training routine:
PA: My offseason workout routine includes working out five times a week, speed and agility work, and yoga.
Which skills are you focused on improving?
PA: This summer I am really focusing on improving my quickness and skating.
Have you spent time with any of your Americans teammates over the offseason?
PA: I’ve spent some time with Patrick Dea this summer and still talk to my other teammates regularly.
What has been the highlight of your summer so far?
PA: Some friends and I️ organized a memorial tournament to honor the four boys from St. Albert that passed away in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. That is the highlight of my summer, for sure.
Looking back at the Americans 2017-18 season, what was your favorite moment?
PA: Sweeping the first two rounds of the playoffs.
What are you most looking forward to about returning to Tri-City in August?
PA: What I’m looking forward to most about coming back to Tri-City is the weather and being around all the guys again.
Favorite song of the summer?
PA: My favorite song of the summer is I️ was Jack – Jake Owen.
Fun Fact: Parker’s favorite Tri-City restaurant is Costa Vida.
