Annie Fowler Joins Americans as Features Writer
KENNEWICK, WA – Tri-City Americans General Manager Bob Tory announced today that Annie Fowler will be joining the Americans to write feature stories throughout the season for amshockey.com.
Fowler is a graduate of Southern Oregon University and has worked in the newspaper business for 35-plus years. She currently covers sports for the East Oregonian, and previously worked for the Tri-City Herald where she spent sixteen seasons covering the Americans.
“Annie is an excellent journalist with the upmost professionalism and passion toward sports in the Columbia Basin. Her coverage is a great asset for local sports fans to discover the exceptional athletes we have in our community,” said Tory. “Her absence has been felt throughout the region since her departure from the Tri-City Herald.
“We couldn’t be happier to have her providing in-depth coverage of our organization this upcoming season.”
Fowler’s articles will be a part of the Americans News Center presented by Washington’s Lottery. They will be published on amshockey.com and distributed in print form at Americans home games.
