Americans Trade Newell to Kelowna

KENNEWICK, WA – Tri-City Americans General Manager Bob Tory announced today that the team has traded defenseman Jarod Newell to the Kelowna Rockets for a sixth-round pick in the 2022 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

“We wish Jarod all the best with the Kelowna Rockets organization,” stated Tory.

Newell has spent this season with the Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL.
