Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss
The Americans will host the Wenatchee Wild tonight at the Toyota Center for the annual Fred Meyer Teddy Bear Toss game. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to the game, and throw them on the ice when the Americans score their first goal! The donated toys will be distributed to local charities throughout the Mid-Columbia.
Don’t miss the 11th annual Sing For Santa performance during the first intermission, featuring local elementary students singing Christmas carols.
The Americans come into tonight’s game off a 4-1 victory last night in Seattle. They will look earn a victory over their new rival, the Wenathcee Wild, after falling to them last Sunday in Wenatchee. The home team has won each game in their head-to-head series so far this season.
Tonight is the Americans last home game before the Christmas break. They will head to Victoria for a pair of games next weekend before returning home on December 27 to host the Portland Winterhawks.
Please note: There will not be stuffed animals to purchase at the game this year.
