Tri-City’s Smith has seen offensive growth through 2024-25 season
In his own words, the biggest growth in Jackson Smith’s game this season has been on the offensive side of things.
The Tri-City defenceman had a career high 11 goals but blew his previous best point total out of the water with 54, an increase 25 from the previous year.
“That scoring touch wasn’t there for me at the start of the year,” Smith said. “But once I saw one go in, I got a lot more confident shooting the puck and I started shooting the puck more and they started going in.”
His scoring flair has already translated to the U18 World Championships where in three with Canada, he has scored twice and is a +3 rating.
