Robinson expects big things from Iginla in 2024-25

Despite a 47-goal season in 2023-24, Elite Prospect’s Content Director Cam Robinson believes there’s more to come from the Kelowna Rockets’ Tij Iginla this year.

The Utah Hockey Club prospect had an 84-point campaign with the Rockets before he scored nine times in 11 postseason contests.

“It’s difficult to say that a player that scored 47 goals last year is going to really break out in his draft plus one but i’m picking Tij Iginla to do that,” Robinson said. “I think there’s a world where he steps up and is the premier forward in the CHL this year.”

A WHL champion with Seattle in 2023, Iginla was the sixth overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
