Danford to ‘really step up’ in 2024-25
Expect Oshawa Generals defenceman Ben Danford to step up in 2024-25 according to Elite Prospect’s Content Director Cam Robinson.
The Maple Leafs prospect had 33 points last season and helped lead the Generals to the 2024 OHL Championship Series where he recorded four goals and six assists in 21 postseason games.
“He’s a mobile guy, has really refined defensive habits already but he flashed some activation skills and some offensive upside last season that we’re hoping is going to be unlocked this year,” Robinson said.
“I think we’re going to see become a more well-rounded, two-way force in the OHL this season.”
Toronto selected Danford, a gold medallist at the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, 31st overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
