Czata to lean on previous final experience ahead of U18 gold medal game
Ethan Czata is a two-time gold medallist already with Canada.
A winner at the 2023 World U17 Hockey Challenge and the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, the Niagara IceDogs’ NHL Draft prospect is going to lean on that experience again tonight ahead of the U18 World Championships final.
“Getting the opportunity to already play [for a gold] once or twice, so to come here again is unreal and I am super honoured to be here,” Czata said.
In six games thus far, Czata has tallied four assists at the tournament. Canada will play Sweden tonight in the gold medal game at 8pm ET / 5pm PT live on TSN 1.
