Ahead of his Hlinka Gretzky Cup debut tonight, take a look back at Gavin McKenna’s historic performance at the 2024 U18 World Championships.

In Finland, the Medicine Hats Tigers forward had a Canadian record 10 goals and 20 points at the event to lead Canada to gold.

McKenna – who is eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft – was named CHL and WHL Rookie of the Year in 2023-24 after he had 34 goals and 97 points in 63 games.
