2025-26 CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott: Week 21
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL) today unveiled its Week 21 edition of the CHL Top-10 Rankings presented by Delta Hotels by Marriott for the 2025-26 season.
The Everett Silvertips held No. 1 for a third straight week after passing a major road test in Alberta by winning four of five while averaging 4.6 goals per game. With a CHL-best 45 victories and just two losses in their last 19 games since the calendar flipped to 2026, Everett remains the standard. Right behind them, the Moncton Wildcats climbed to a season-best No. 2 by extending the CHL’s longest active winning streak to 12, piling up 24 goals in three games — including two lopsided wins over Halifax — to strengthen their hold at the top of the QMJHL. Rounding out the top three, the Prince Albert Raiders continue to be a model of consistency, staying among the CHL’s top three for a fifth straight week after collecting six of eight points and posting a dominant 25-4-1-0 run over their last 30 games.
Elsewhere, three risers are pushing their way up the board. The Barrie Colts climbed for a third consecutive week to a season-best No. 6, stretching their winning streak to seven and continuing an 18-1-1-0 tear since Dec. 28, sparked by Cole Beaudoin’s nine points in two games. The Penticton Vees moved up two spots to No. 7 after extending their point streak to five (4-0-0-1), reaching 35 wins to tie the WHL expansion record and staying on pace to challenge the CHL’s inaugural-season wins benchmark. And at No. 8, the Kitchener Rangers jumped two places after taking seven of eight points last week, improving to 14-1-1-2 since the new year and climbing atop the OHL’s Western Conference with Christian Kirsch steady in goal and Sam O’Reilly leading the way offensively.

CHL Top-10 Rankings – Week 21
1. Everett Silvertips (WHL): Confronted with a demanding five-game swing through Alberta over the last seven days, the Everett Silvertips (45-7-2-1) proved once again why they’ve held the CHL’s No. 1 spot for a third straight week, capturing four of five road contests while averaging 4.6 goals per game. Everett opened the trip with wins over Red Deer (6-3), Edmonton (4-0), Lethbridge (8-4) and No. 9 Medicine Hat (4-3 OT) before seeing its lone setback come in Calgary (3-1) — just the club’s second loss in 19 games (17-2-0-0) since the calendar flipped to 2026. Already pacing the CHL with 45 victories and an .818 winning percentage, the Silvertips are tracking toward the 50-win mark for only the second time in franchise history and could even threaten the team record of 54 wins set in 2006-07. Leading the way on the trip was top 2027 NHL Draft prospect Landon DuPont (15G-35A in 50 GP), who earned Tempo WHL Player of the Week, Fuelled by Co-op honours after posting eight points (3G-5A) and a plus-8 rating in five games in his home province. This week, as 2026 NHL Draft prospects Brek Liske (5G-13A in 44 GP) and Matias Vanhanen (15G-42A in 49 GP) prepare to participate in tonight’s 2026 WHL Prospects Game presented by Showpass in Langley, B.C. (streaming free on Victory+), Everett returns home this weekend to host the Seattle Thunderbirds and Tri-City Americans at Angel of the Winds Arena.

2. Moncton Wildcats (QMJHL): Riding the CHL’s longest active streak, the Moncton Wildcats (40-8-2-1) have climbed to a season-best No. 2 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings after stretching their winning streak to 12 games. Moncton blew the doors off opponents over the last week, rolling past Halifax twice (11-1, 7-5) and handling Shawinigan (6-2) while pouring in 24 goals — an eye-popping 8.0 per game across three outings. The Wildcats have surged up the rankings in five straight weeks and, dating back to early November, have posted a dominant 34-4-0-1 run over their last 39 games (.872 points percentage), with just one loss in their last 16 contests since the calendar flipped to 2026 — a lone defeat that came against the No. 4-ranked Chicoutimi Saguenéens. Now the third CHL club to reach 40 wins in 2025-26, Moncton also sits four points clear of Chicoutimi atop the QMJHL standings, albeit having played one more game. Powering the charge is Utah Mammoth prospect Caleb Desnoyers (15G-38A in 32 GP), who led the QMJHL with seven points (3G-4A) last week and extended his point streak to 11 games. Over that span he’s piled up a league-best 24 points (7G-17A) with a plus-11 rating, aligning with the Wildcats’ current heater. Up next, Moncton meets the Charlottetown Islanders in a home-and-home series.
Games this week: @ Charlottetown (Feb. 20), vs. Charlottetown (Feb. 21)
3. Prince Albert Raiders (WHL): Having secured six of a possible eight points last week, the Prince Albert Raiders (42-8-5-0) slipped one spot to No. 3 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings, yet remain a fixture among the league’s elite. It marks the fifth straight week — and the sixth time in seven weeks — that the WHL’s Eastern Conference-leading Raiders have ranked inside the CHL’s top three, powered by wins over Regina (5-2), Saskatoon (5-4 SO) and Moose Jaw (6-0), with their lone setback a 4-3 decision against Brandon. Since Dec. 6, Prince Albert has been as consistent as any team in the CHL, going 25-4-1-0 over its last 30 games, while sitting second in the league with 42 wins and an .809 points percentage — one of just three CHL clubs to eclipse the 40-win mark so far in 2025-26 and their best season since 2018-19. Rookie Jonah Sivertson (19G-27A in 53 GP) led the way last week, earning Sandman WHL Rookie of the Week honours after recording six points (3G-3A) and a plus-3 rating in four games. Ranked 88th among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting’s midterm list for the 2026 NHL Draft, Sivertson represents Team East at tonight’s 2026 WHL Prospects Game presented by Showpass (streaming free on Victory+), alongside Raiders defenceman Daxon Rudolph (24G-36A in 55 GP) and goaltender Michal Orsulak. Prince Albert resumes its schedule with a trip to Moose Jaw on Friday before returning home to host Swift Current on Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre.
Games this week: @ Moose Jaw (Feb. 20), vs. Swift Current (Feb. 21)
4. Chicoutimi Saguenéens (QMJHL): Perfect on the week and building momentum, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens (37-8-3-2) remain No. 4 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a second straight week after going 3-0-0-0 to extend their winning streak to five games. Chicoutimi has been a fixture among the CHL’s top five since the start of December, now making it 10 consecutive weeks inside that group, and they kept rolling with two wins over Baie-Comeau (3-1, 6-4) plus a statement 9-1 victory against the Rimouski Océanic. Since the calendar flipped to 2026, the Saguenéens have won 12 of their last 15 games (12-3-0-0) and sit just four points back of No. 2 Moncton for first in the QMJHL standings, while holding a game in hand. Nashville Predators prospect Alex Huang (8G-45A in 48 GP) drove the bus last week, leading Chicoutimi — and the QMJHL — with seven points (2G-5A) over three games to earn Videotron Player of the Week honours. He now ranks second among QMJHL defencemen with a career-best 53 points through 48 games. The week also featured a milestone moment from captain Emmanuel Vermette (22G-28A in 50 GP), who set a new franchise record by skating in his 302nd game with Chicoutimi, surpassing the previous mark of 301 held by Francis Verreault-Paul. Up next, the Saguenéens open a five-game homestand with back-to-back dates against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies before welcoming Shawinigan on Sunday.
Games this week: vs. Rouyn-Noranda (Feb. 19), vs. Rouyn-Noranda (Feb. 20), vs. Shawinigan (Feb. 22)
5. Brantford Bulldogs (OHL): With a flawless 3-0-0-0 week, the Brantford Bulldogs (38-8-6-2) held firm at No. 5 in the CHL Top-10 Rankings for a second straight week, continuing a season-long run of elite consistency. Brantford has now spent 21 weeks inside the CHL’s top five — the only club to maintain that distinction all season — and reinforced that status with wins over Erie (5-1), Guelph (4-2) and Kingston (3-2). Riding a four-game winning streak and an 8-1-0-1 stretch over their last 10 outings, the Bulldogs lead the OHL with 38 victories and sit atop the league’s overall standings. Philadelphia Flyers prospect Jett Luchanko (7G-31A in 33 GP) powered the offence last week with a team-high six points (1G-5A) and enters on a four-game point streak, producing eight points (2G-6A) and three multi-point performances over that span. Chicago Blackhawks prospect Marek Vanacker (39G-26A in 47 GP) was equally impactful, piling up four goals and an assist in the three wins. Vanacker’s 39 goals rank second in the CHL as he closes in on the 40-goal mark. The Bulldogs are back in action tonight at home against Oshawa before a weekend road swing featuring matchups with the No. 6-ranked Barrie Colts and the Peterborough Petes.
Games this week: vs. Oshawa (Feb. 18), @ Barrie (Feb. 21), @ Peterborough (Feb. 22)
6. Barrie Colts (OHL): Winners of seven straight, the Barrie Colts (37-11-2-4) continue their steady climb up the CHL Top-10 Rankings, rising for a third consecutive week to a season-best No. 6 after picking up two more victories. Barrie opened the week by doubling up the Kingston Frontenacs 6-3 at home before heading to Ottawa and outlasting the No. 10-ranked 67’s in an 8-6 decision, extending what has been one of the CHL’s most impressive runs since the holiday break — an 18-1-1-0 stretch over their last 20 games (.900 winning percentage) dating back to Dec. 28. Utah Mammoth prospect Cole Beaudoin (25G-49A in 41 GP) was the driving force in both wins, leading the way with nine points (2G-7A), including a second consecutive four-point outing against Kingston and then a five-point explosion versus Ottawa. Over his current three-game point streak, Beaudoin has piled up 13 points (5G-8A) while scoring in all three outings, pushing him to 74 points and within range of OHL scoring leader Nathan Aspinall (77). Dallas Stars prospect Emil Hemming (21G-29A in 33 GP) also kept rolling, recording consecutive two-goal performances and points in six of his last seven games. The Colts will look to keep their surge going this week with matchups against Owen Sound, London, and No. 5-ranked Brantford over the next seven days.
Games this week: vs. Owen Sound (Feb. 19), @ London (Feb. 20), vs. Brantford (Feb. 21)
7. Penticton Vees (WHL): Having picked up five of a possible six points to extend their current point streak to five games (4-0-0-1), the Penticton Vees (35-11-4-4) have climbed two spots to No. 7 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings — matching a season-best position for the third time in four weeks. After opening the stretch with a 3-2 shootout loss to Vancouver, the Vees bounced back with home wins over the Victoria Royals (5-2) and Prince George Cougars (3-0), reaching 35 victories and tying the WHL record for wins by an expansion franchise in its inaugural season (set by the Everett Silvertips in 2003-04). Tracking toward 44 wins, Penticton is closing in on the CHL benchmark for inaugural-season wins (37 by the Longueuil Chevaliers of the QMJHL), a mark they’ll look to surpass as they continue to build momentum. New York Islanders prospect Jacob Kvasnicka (33G-39A in 52 GP) paced the Vees last week with five points (3G-2A) in three games and is riding a five-game point streak, having scored six goals across four of his last five outings, while ranking third among CHL rookies with 72 points. With defenceman Sean Burick (0G-4A in 40 GP) set to skate in tonight’s 2026 WHL Prospects Game presented by Showpass in Langley, B.C. (streaming free on Victory+), the Vees will next turn their attention to a six-game road trip through Manitoba and Saskatchewan, beginning with stops in Brandon and Regina.
Games this week: @ Brandon (Feb. 20), @ Regina (Feb. 21)
8. Kitchener Rangers (OHL): Winning three of four games to collect seven of a possible eight points (3-0-0-1) last week, the Kitchener Rangers (37-12-4-2) have climbed two spots to No. 8 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings, marking the second time in three weeks they’ve moved up the list. The Rangers opened with a statement 5-2 win over rival London before heading east to defeat Kingston (4-2) and blank Ottawa (2-0), with their only blemish coming in a 3-2 shootout loss in Peterborough. Since the calendar flipped to 2026, Kitchener has been one of the OHL’s top clubs, posting a 14-1-1-2 record over its last 18 games with just one regulation loss — a surge that has clinched a spot in the 2026 OHL Playoffs and propelled the Rangers into first place in the OHL’s Western Conference standings. In net, San Jose Sharks prospect Christian Kirsch earned Mary Brown’s Chicken OHL Goaltender of the Week honours after backstopping wins over London and Ottawa with a 1.00 GAA, .957 save percentage and a shutout, and he’s now 9-1-1-1 since returning from representing Switzerland at the 2026 World Juniors. Up front, Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Sam O’Reilly (23G-27A in 45 GP) led the way offensively with six points (4G-2A), highlighted by a four-point night against his former club (London Knights) and then scoring both goals in the 2-0 win over the 67’s. The Rangers will try to keep rolling this week when they host Windsor on Friday before visiting Erie on Saturday.
Games this week: vs. Windsor (Feb. 20), @ Erie (Feb. 21)
9. Medicine Hat Tigers (WHL): Having dropped back-to-back games for just the second time in the last three months, the Medicine Hat Tigers (37-9-5-3) slipped one spot to No. 9 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings, though they remain one of the WHL’s most consistent clubs. The Tigers were edged 5-4 in overtime in Red Deer before falling 4-3 in overtime the next night at home to No. 1 Everett, then responded emphatically by avenging the earlier setback with a 10-1 rout of the Rebels to close the week. Medicine Hat is now riding a five-game point streak (3-0-2-0) and has suffered just three regulation losses while posting 27 wins over its last 35 games (27-3-4-1) dating back to Nov. 8. The week’s highlight came in that 10-goal outburst, fueled by the Ruck twins — Markus Ruck (15G-64A in 54 GP) sprung brother Liam Ruck (33G-47A in 54 GP) on a power-play marker with a no-look feed from behind the net, as the duo combined for 15 points (3G-12A) over three games. Markus is on a nine-game point streak and leads both the WHL and CHL with 64 assists (79 points, fourth in the WHL), while Liam has points in eight of his last nine and sits at 80 points (third in the WHL) with 33 goals tied for fourth in the WHL. Up next, Markus and Liam will be among four Tigers representatives — alongside goaltender Carter Casey and forward Yaroslov Bryzgalov — competing in tonight’s 2026 WHL Prospects Game presented by Showpass in Langley, B.C. (streaming free on Victory+), before Medicine Hat returns to league play with a home-and-home set against Lethbridge on Friday and Saturday.
Games this week: @ Lethbridge (Feb. 20), vs. Lethbridge (Feb. 21)
10. Ottawa 67’s (OHL): After a difficult week in which they earned just two of a possible eight points, the Ottawa 67’s (38-13-1-2) slid four spots to No. 10 in this week’s CHL Top-10 Rankings as their current three-game losing streak halted their momentum. Ottawa opened the week with a statement 6-0 home win over Oshawa, but followed it with setbacks against Peterborough (7-3), No. 8 Kitchener (2-0) and No. 6 Barrie (8-5), conceding 17 goals over those three losses — nearly six per game. The skid marks only the second time this season the 67’s have dropped three straight games in regulation, yet they still own an OHL-best 38 victories and remain within five points of Brantford atop the OHL’s Eastern Conference. Offensively, 2026 NHL Draft prospect Spencer Bowes (16G-17A in 53 GP) led Ottawa last week with five points (2G-3A) and has points in four of his last six games, including three multi-point efforts, while Finnish forward Jasper Kuhta (27G-21A in 48 GP) chipped in two goals as he closes in on the 30-goal mark with goals in three of his last five outings. Ottawa will look to get back on track this weekend at TD Place when they host the Niagara IceDogs and North Bay Battalion.
Games this week: vs. Niagara (Feb. 20), vs. North Bay (Feb. 22)
