Toronto Jr. Canadiens forward Camryn Warren named 2025 OHL Cup MVP
The Toronto Jr. Canadiens are 2025 OHL Cup champions and Camryn Warren played a big part in that success.
Warren had a goal and an assist, setting up Fischer Ishwaran’s game-winner with 1:29 remaining, earning the Tim Adams Memorial Trophy as tournament MVP. He finished the showcase tied for the event lead with 13 points (6-7–13) over seven games along with a plus-9 rating.
Warren’s assist on Ishwaran’s game-winner established a new all-time OHL Cup points record of 22, surpassing previous marks held by Tyler Seguin, Adam Valentini and William Moore. His point total includes last year’s nine-point effort as a member of the North York Rangers.
The MVP performance included a pair of overtime winners during the tournament as Warren scored in extra time to lift JRC to a round robin victory over the Sun County Panthers. He struck again in OT to help the Jr. Canadiens eliminate the Ottawa Valley Titans in the quarterfinal round. Other standout performances included three-point efforts against the Vaughan Kings to begin the tournament as well as against Detroit Little Caesars in the semifinal.
Warren joins other former JRC winners of the award in Jake O’Brien (2023), Dylan Robinson (2018) and John McFarland (2008).
