entry-level contract.

Brzustewicz, 19, was selected by Los Angeles in the first round, 31st overall, of the 2025 NHL Draft.

The Washington, Mich., native recently completed his third season in the Ontario Hockey League with the London Knights, emerging as one of the league’s top offensive defencemen. He led the Knights with 54 points (19 goals, 35 assists) in 59 games during the 2025-26 regular season.

Brzustewicz’s breakout campaign also saw him lead all OHL defencemen in shots while ranking among the league leaders on the power play, finishing second in power-play goals and top 10 in points among blueliners.

Over three seasons in London, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-shot defenceman recorded 102 points (31 goals, 71 assists) in 178 career regular season games, developing into a key contributor on one of the OHL’s premier teams.

Brzustewicz played an important role in London’s championship success, helping the Knights capture back-to-back OHL titles in 2024 and 2025 before going on to win the Memorial Cup in 2025. He added 10 points in 38 career playoff games, contributing to multiple deep postseason runs.

Known for his ability to generate offence from the back end, Brzustewicz combined strong puck movement with a heavy shot and power-play presence throughout his time in the OHL. His progression into a top-pairing defenceman in London played a key role in his rise to becoming a first-round NHL Draft selection.

Brzustewicz will now continue his development within the Kings organization following a three-year OHL career that saw him grow into one of the league’s most productive defencemen.

Los Angeles Kings prospect Henry Brzustewicz has signed his entry-level contract after recording 102 points and helping the London Knights win two OHL titles and a Memorial Cup.

[186
["post-297353","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-article","tag-henry-brzustewicz","tag-london-knights","tag-ohl-news","category-186","description-off

https://media.chl.ca/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2026/04/05141154/ELC_Web.png",1920,1080,false
["GET

TORONTO – With the 2026 OHL Cup Championship Final underway, the Ontario Hockey League has announced the seven recipients of 2026 U16 AAA Player of the Year Awards for players representing the four Ontario Hockey Federation Member Partners including the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario (ALLIANCE), Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), Northern Ontario Hockey Association (NOHA), and both the Ontario Minor Hockey Association’s (OMHA) East and West regions, along with Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) and Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO).

“A big congratulations goes out to the recipients of this year’s awards.
