Originally selected in the fourth round, 64th overall, of the 2022 OHL Priority Selection, the Ottawa native established himself as one of the league’s top goaltenders, posting a career record of 44-16-7 with a 3.04 goals-against average and .901 save percentage across 77 games.

Nicknamed “Big Save Dave” during his time with the Bulldogs, Egorov helped one of the OHL’s top teams over the past several seasons and enters Erie as an NHL Draft-eligible goaltender with significant experience in high-pressure situations.

For Brantford, the deal brings back valuable draft capital along with the rights to one of junior hockey’s most productive NCAA-bound forwards.

Good, an Ajax native and Merrimack College commit, starred with the Brooks Bandits of the BCHL this past season, recording 22 goals and a league-leading 48 assists for 70 points in 54 games. He helped the Bandits capture a second consecutive BCHL championship, scoring the overtime winner in the championship-clinching Game 5.

The trade marks another notable move during the opening day of the OHL trade window, which remains open through June 11 at 3:00 p.m. ahead of the 2026 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore.

All confirmed trades can be found on our OHL Trade Window Tracker.

The 2026 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore will be held June 12-13 at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, marking the first in-person OHL Priority Selection since 2000. The CHL Import Draft has subsequently expanded from two rounds to three, creating additional value around import selections and giving clubs greater flexibility in building their rosters.

As part of the changes, teams are permitted to trade CHL Import Draft selections, making deals such as this one possible.
