Vancouver Canucks prospect Michael DiPietro was a difference-maker, turning aside 30 shots as the Windsor Spitfires improved to 2-0 with a 5-2 victory in London. Chris Playfair (1) scored the game winner inside the final minute of the second period while Igor Larionov (1), Cole Purboo (1), Tyler Angle (1) and Aaron Luchuk (1) also lit the lamp. Josh Nelson (1) and Adrian Carbonara (1) responded with goals for the Knights. Both teams registered 32 shots on goal while the Spitfires power play was 2-for-4 on the night to London’s 0-for-6 mark.
